FAQ
What counts as a "rare pair"? Any Blue Lock ship with around or less than 100 tagged works on Ao3.
Is "less than or equal to 100 fics" in general or otp:true? There are a some ships that have over 100+ fics but only as harems, polyamory, non-endgame or side ships, so as a main pairing they’re under-written. If a ship is under 100 fics with "otp:true" applied, then we do consider that as underwritten and a rarepair. (Most of the really "big" ships clear 100 easily even with "otp:true" applied.)
What happens if a ship has less than 100 AO3 works when prompts are announced but gets to 100 works before posting period starts? That's okay! So long as it's around or less than 100 when prompts start, you are welcome to post for that pair.
Do OT3s/poly ships count? Absolutely! Poly ship to your heart's content!
Can I include popular ships in my works for Rarepair Week? Sure thing, so long as the work itself focuses primarily on the rarepair! Background ship as you please.
Will there be any age or content restrictions/guidelines for us to be aware of? Just properly tag your works! No restrictions apply. Depending on demand, there might be an 18+ prompt list included alongside the general prompt list, but as of right now, our only restrictions are that you properly tag all your submissions.
How would the whole AO3 collection thing work if you make fanart for the event? Ao3 allows image embedding for fanart. If you don't want to upload to Ao3, use #bllkrarepairevent when posting to your platform of choice!

The Ao3 collection is hidden/not visible yet. Correct, we have yet to decide the dates for Rarepair Week, and the Ao3 collection will be available for those dates. (Want a say in when this event happens? Fill out our Interest Check!)
But [ship] is actually really popular-- Shhh. Embrace the enjoyment. Write for your rarepair and have fun. If it has less than 100 works on Ao3, it counts for this event ;)
If this is prompt week, why are there ship/tag nominations? The tag nominations are for picking which prompts we'll be using for the week's prompts! Ship nominations are for a kind of "inspo" list, to see what kind of rarepairs people are interested in seeing more of, in case you want ideas!
